Taco Bell picked TBWA
Chiat/Day, Venice, Calif., to handle the creative portion of its $200 million account, according to executives with knowledge of the decision. The agency will resign its $50 million Jack in the Box account, those executives said. TBWA and Taco Bell declined to comment. Taco Bell talked to a number of agencies in an unusually quiet review. Foote, Cone & Belding and Goodby
, Silverstein & Partners, both San Francisco, and Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., were among them. Goodby and Wieden both declined to be considered. Bozell Worldwide, Costa Mesa, Calif., loses the creative portion of the account but will continue to handle media and field service.
