Tag Heur switches global account back to BDDP

Published on .

PARIS--Swiss luxury sports watchmaker TAG Heur has moved its undisclosed global advertising budget to BDDP@ TBWA, Paris from Bartle Bogle Hegarty, London.

The appointment renews a longstanding relationship between BDDP@TBWA and TAG Heur, owned by France's LVMH luxury goods group.

BDDP managed TAG Heur advertising from 1990 to 1997, creating acclaimed campaigns under taglines including "Don't Crack Under Pressure" and "Success Is a MindGame."

BBH snagged the account from BDDP in 1997, accompanying TAG Heur on a brisk international expansion effort that now sees the brand distributed in 100 countries, through subsidiaries in 14 nations.

BDDP@TBWA, Paris, will launch its first new campaign for TAG Heur in mid-September, according to agency sources.
