Target Stores will launch an online marketing campaign via CollegeStudent.com, an online community for coeds on 320 U.S. college campuses. The "I Need Help! Contest" starts Aug. 15.Students will be able to explain why their dorm rooms or apartments badly need decorative help; winners get a free make-over from Target.
The contest, created by the college site, will be promoted via fliers, radio and posters on college campuses as well as banners on the CollegeStudent.com network of sites. Target is sponsoring the site's housing area. Hayworth Media, Minneapolis, created the online ads.
