Marty Taucher, one of Microsoft Corp.'s most veteran marketing and communications executives, said he will leave the company in early August to pursue personal interests and community service activities. Mr. Taucher, who has spent 15 years at Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft, most recently was director of network communications for Microsoft Network. He is the latest in a series of executives to leave MSN as Microsoft continues to rework Internet strategies. "In the last year at MSN, we've made great progress in turning the business around,'' Mr. Taucher said, "and the new team [named to manage MSN earlier this year] is heading in the right direction.''
