TBWA banks $23m in Germany

Published on .

MUNICH -- Hypo Bank has asked the Frankfurt and Munich offices of TBWA to handle the Munich bank's $23m advertising account. Pitching for the assignment were Munich-based agencies Wueschner & Rohwer (which is owned by Ammirati Puris Lintas) and DDB Needham-owned Heye & Partner. Incumbent of 14 years Herrwerth & Partner was not involved in the pitch. Both TBWA offices have previously done some work for Hypo Bank.
