Sony PlayStation Account Moved to Los Angeles Office

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day is cutting half the employees at its San Francisco office, but said today the office will remain a "full service" facility.

In all, TBWA/Chiat/Day will cut about 50 positions, most of them, about 45, in San Francisco and the remainder split between New York and the Playa del Rey, Calif., office.

Work on the San Francisco shop's Sony PlayStation account will move to the Playa del Rey office. Remaining accounts in San Francisco include Starz Encore.

The move comes as a result of the departure of the office's primary account, Levi Strauss & Co.'s Levi's jeans brand, which moved last month to Bcom3Group's Bartle Bogle Hegart, New York.
