Chiat/Day, Venice, Calif., took home 12 of the 39 Belding Bowls at the April 1 Advertising Club of Los Angeles Belding Awards, more than double any other agency's winnings. West CEO David Lubars, renewed Chiat/Day Chairman Lee Clow's call a year ago to make the Beldings a statewide contest, but a group of San Francisco creative directors have rejected merging their show with the Beldings.
