TBWA plots future

TBWA Chiat/Day formed a global "Department of the Future" in its New York office. The department will monitor the convergence of all communications media and interpret the implications of global trends. Headed by Marian Salzman, TBWA Chiat/Day corporate director of emerging media and consumer insights, the department will focus on millennium planning, new media and the new consumer. The department will also run a number of conferences, the first being this summer's "Global Cybercitizens: New Media and the New Consumer."
