TBWA's Unagency eyes banking accounts

TBWA Chiat/Day is expected to establish its new retail shop, TBD, the Unagency, as an independent shop, allowing it to handle the $15 million Home Savings of America account. That would clear the way for a merger early next year of TBWA with sister agency Ketchum Advertising's San Francisco office, which handles the $45 million Bank of America account. Tom Patty, chairman of the new shop, said the change would not occur "in the foreseeable future."
