'Teen People' breaks pre-launch ads

Teen People breaks a new campaign this week to support the magazine's launch. The $5 million effort from Y&R Advertising, New York, features the tagline "Just the really cool people." It will appear in trade and consumer publications, and out-of-home executions. The monthly People magazine spinoff will be launched with the February 1998 issue, on sale Jan. 9.
