USA and Visa International
are, as expected, the first marketers to test interactive TV advertising with Tele-TV, Reston, Va., the consortium of Bell Atlantic Corp., Nynex and Pacific Telesis (AA, April 10). Each marketer will pay $125,000 to test interactive infomercials over the next year using Stargazer, Bell Atlantic's video on demand service reaching 1,000 households in northern Virginia. Tele-TV expects to add 10 more marketers to its Core Advertiser Program.
