Published on .

Texaco this week is launching a consumer promotion with Cracker Jack to support its sponsorship of Major League Baseball's All-Star Game balloting. When consumers get a Texaco fill-up, they can purchase for 29 cents a special box of Cracker Jack that includes a game piece for prizes that include trips to the World Series, a year's supply of gas and product discounts. Texaco is supporting its sponsorship with radio spots and a TV spot featuring New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner and "Seinfeld" character George Costanza (played by Jason Alexander) casting the first ballot.
