Online community theglobe.com, New York, launches a $27 million ad campaign from agency Black Ink, New York, Nov. 8. The commercials, themed "To build a world around you," begin airing on network and cable TV in Atlanta, New York and Washington markets. The commercials feature odd characters who band together through a network of e-mail clubs.
