TheStreet.com announces two sponsorship deals

Published on .

Datek Online, an online brokerage company, renewed its sponsorship of financial news and information site TheStreet.com's Tools/Quotes section for a third year. The sponsorship includes branded buttons and tiles in the site's investment tools area and ads in TheStreet.com's e-mailed newsletter. Netstock Direct Corp., which operates new online brokerage service ShareBuilder.com, also signed a sponsorship agreement with TheStreet.com. Under the deal, TheStreet.com will co-develop the ShareBuilder Center, expected to be launched next month. TheStreet.com readers who set up a ShareBuilder investment plan will be able to accumulate dollar-cost-averaged holdings in individual stocks over time. TheStreet.com earlier in January dropped some of its subscription fees to attract more readers and generate additional ad revenue.
