Thrifty ads break

Tulsa-based Thrifty Car Rental launches a multimillion-dollar, national TV campaign Saturday on ABC's Pigskin Classic, of which Thrifty is the name sponsor. New 30-second spots carry a new theme line, "Best of all, it's Thrifty." The ads, the first from Ackerman McQueen, Oklahoma City, feature fast-moving image collages with Thrifty employees servicing customers.
