Ticketmaster has agreed to buy Evite.com, a site that provides users with a way to plan parties, send free invitations to friends and store photo albums, among other online activities. The terms of the acquisition were undisclosed. Ticketmaster, which was formerly called Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch, will integrate Evite's services across its site.

Citysearch, a network of online city guides owned by Ticketmaster, already incorporates Evite's offerings across its site. Evite's headquarters will be relocated to Pasadena, Calif., where Citysearch is based.
