(Aug. 10, 2001) -- Timberland Co., Stratham, N.H., is expected to name a winner as early as Monday of its $20 million global advertising account following meetings with four finalists this week.

Contenders are Havas Advertising's Black Rocket Euro RSCG, San Francisco; Interpublic Group of Cos.' Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis; Publicis Group's Fallon, Minneapolis; and WPP Group's J. Walter Thompson, New York.

Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is managing the review.
