magazine said Feb. 5 that it had partnered with blackplanet.com, a leading site targeted toward African-Americans. The arrangement calls for Time
to provide historical content from the magazine to blackplanet.com. Time
described the partnership as the first in its multicultural marketing outreach program; blackplanet.com, which is wholly owned by Community Connect, will offer trial subscriptions to Time
on its site.
