Second Time Inc. rate hike

Entertainment Weekly has become the second Time Inc. title to put through a mid-year ad rate increase, due to paper price hikes. Effective with the Aug. 4 issue its ad rates jump 4.7% and the rate base goes up 2.2% to 1,150,000. Cost of a color page will be $53,500. Money earlier announced a 4% rate hike effective in August.
