Time's Krieger to 'New Yorker'

The New Yorker named Peter Krieger, New York ad sales manager for Time, as the last of three VPs who will assume the duties of the magazine's now abolished publisher post. Mr. Krieger will be VP-general manager responsible for the financial, corporate, technology, pharmaceutical, consumer electronics, food and direct response categories. He joins former New Yorker Publisher Diane Silberstein, who was earlier named VP-general manager for fashion, retail, cosmetics, home furnishings and publishing, and former Associate Publisher Carmen Lopez, who was named VP-general manager for automotive, travel, jewelry & watch, arts & entertainment and liquor.
