Published on .

Time Warner on Monday named Meg Siesfeld, currently deputy editor of News Corp.'s iGuide Web service, to be managing editor of Time Inc. New Media, with specific responsibilities for Pathfinder. She is expected to start July 8 and succeeds Pathfinder Editor Jim Kinsella, who left earlier this year and is currently a consultant.

Separately, Time Warner also on Monday launches a complete redesign of Pathfinder, featuring new ad positions, faster loading speed and a new Internet search engine, dubbed SiteSeeker.
