, will officially leave the service early next year. The L.A. Times
will launch TimesLink as a World Wide Web site in March of 1996, with beta testing beginning in January. "We want to take our content and produce it once," Dan Fisher, editor of online services at The Los Angeles Times
, told Ad Age
earlier this year (Ad Age, Nov. 20). "And we want to get as many people to see it as possible." Ad rates will range in price from $3,000 to $6,000.
