TiVo, the San Jose, Calif.-based marketer of a personal TV service, on June 9 unveils TiVo Takes, an interactive original program that will enable subscribers to schedule recordings based on a host's reviews. TiVo's 35,000-plus subscribers will be able to select featured shows via the company's Ipreview technology. TiVo Takes also will offer tips on how to get the most out of the TiVo service. The half-hour TiVo Takes will run every Friday, delivered via Pax TV.
