Estee Lauder's Clinique in October will launch Tommy Hilfiger fragrances Tommy and Tommy Girl in France, one of the last major European markets where the scents aren't currently available. Clinique may use the campaign from Bates Worldwide, New Yori, that includes two print ads, one for each fragrance. The taglines are "The new American fragrance" for Tommy and "A declaration of independence" for Tommy Girl. The campaign will include ads on bus sides and in women's, men's and teen magazines. In addition, the U.S. designer last month opened in St. Tropez his first French shop.
