Record, video and book retailer Tower Records, Sacramento, Calif., said it created four new posts in a reorganized advertising and marketing division. Mike Farrace was named VP-marketing, worldwide, responsible for Tower's marketing approach, which includes in-house publications, Web sites and direct-to-consumer services, from VP-publishing and direct-to-consumer. Stephen Nikkel was named VP-advertising operations, worldwide, from advertising division manager. Sherri Wigger was named advertising director of market development, from regional advertising director. Terri Williams will take over the consolidated national and regional sales division of Tower's US publications as VP-advertising U.S. from national advertising director. Tower advertising is handled in-house.
