Published on .

(July 24, 2001) DUESSELDORF -- Toys'R US, the American retailer, has awarded its estimated $15 million to $20 million advertising business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria to Grey Worldwide here.

It was unclear whether there was a formal pitch. Cologne-based Publicis Groupe was the incumbent.

A multi-media campaign will feature the toy company's Wish Star emblem.

Launched in Germany in 1987, Toys's US now has 63 outlets selling more than 30,000 toys, baby products, multimedia items and sports goods. -- Dagmar Mussey
