General Mills debuted its new Nascar race car Aug. 20 at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn., for the Goody's Headache Powder 500. No. 26 is a Ford Taurus operated under the auspices of the Cheerios Racing Team but bears the images of Big G character icons from other cereals, including the Trix Rabbit and Lucky the Leprechaun. The car was designed with suggestions from kids visiting the marketer's Web site(www.youruleschool.com).
