Travel Channel, parks group set deal

Travel Channel, Atlanta, and the National Park Foundation signed a long-term marketing partnership that begins with a Travel Channel/NPF tie-in with American Airlines in its Miles for Trails marketing pro-gram.Thepartnershipwill also create a series of grass-roots "Park Affiliate" programs that cable TV systems can execute locally.Through NPF the Travel Channel will work with local cable operators on in-park events such as cleanup days.
