Travel dot-com looks for global shop

to handle its global creative account to develop its online and offline brand image ahead of its launch later this year. The dot-com has alreadyassigned its public relations account to Shandwick in the U.K. and Spain and Business Press in Italy.

U.K. Marketing Director Karen Gee will lead the search. eDreams, which has secured more than $20 million in investment capital for the launch of eDreams within Europe, currently has offices in the U.K., Spain, Italy and the U.S. and employs 40 staff.

"eDream's focus is to sell imaginative and unusual holidays to a cash-rich, time-poor market of Internet users. One of the most exciting features of the eDreams site is the DreamGuide concept -- real people who are passionate experts in particular destinations or activities. Online DreamGuides will provide customers with independent information on thedestination or activity they are considering and answer any specific questions they may have," says Ms. Gee.
