TravelWeb pushes last-minute travel

TravelWeb has introduced a new area called "Click-it! Weekends" that offers various hotels' lowest published rates for the coming weekend. Launched as a pilot, the first hotel companies to participate are Hyatt Hotels and ITT Sheraton Corp. The new Click-it! Weekends logo is flagged on TravelWeb's home page and rates will be posted beginning every Monday and are applicable for the following weekend. Users can also request a weekly e-mail update from TravelWeb with the current listing of the Click-it! Weekends hotels and rates. The service plans to be open to any hotel company in early 1997.
