Tribune promotes Fuller, Smith

Tribune Co. named Jack Fuller exec VP of its Tribune Publishing Co. unit, responsible for the Chicago Tribune, the Sun-Sentinel of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the Orlando Sentinel and the Hampton Roads, Va.-based Daily Press. Mr. Fuller, currently president-CEO and publisher of Chicago Tribune Co., succeeds Joseph D. Cantrell, who retires March 31. Succeeding Mr. Fuller at Chicago Tribune Co. is Scott C. Smith, president-CEO and publisher, Sun-Sentinel Co.
