Tribune trades for TV stations

Tribune Co., Chicago, said it agreed to exchange its WQCD-FM, New York, with Emmis Broadcasting Corp., for TV stations KTZZ, Seattle, and WXMI-TV, Grand Rapids, Mich. The two UHF stations are WB and Fox affiliates, respectively. The trade brings Tribune's TV station holdings to 18, covering 35.6% of U.S. TV HHs (26% for FCC purposes), and gives Tribune stations in 10 of the top 15 markets and 13 of the top 20.
