Even though Jeep had never run a spot for its Cherokee in the U.K., creatives at Delaney Fletcher Bozell, London, were inspired by the Pathfinder probe's Mars footage. They created a commercial superimposing the Chrysler Corp. vehicle in the ultimate wilderness, onto NASA shots of the planet. The spot, which broke last week, opens with hazy pictures of Mars, with voice-over discussing the harsh environment, followed by the vehicle bouncing into view.
