Former Turner exec buys rep firm

Published on .

Richy Glassberg, former senior VP-general manager of Turner Interactive Sales, has purchased the assets of ad sales company Omni-Net, for which he most recently served as president-CEO, and has formed Phase2Media, an Internet ad rep firm. Phase2Media has partnered with NetGravity to use its AdCenter service for ad management and serving. The service will launch in May.

Phase2Media has ``handshake agreements'' with between 15 to 20 sites to be part of the network, said Mr. Glassberg, chairman-CEO. ``The partnership with NetGravity is crucial,'' he said. ``I think their targeting is the most effective targeting that is working on the Web.''
