Turner new media exec leaves U.S. for Europe

LONDON--Turner Broadcasting System Europe has named Mitch Lazar VP-business development/new media. He was previously director of business development for CNN Interactive in Atlanta.

Mr. Lazar assumes responsibility for coordinating the company's overall business development and strategic planning in new media ventures for CNN and Cartoon Network and TNT. In addition to consolidating existing relationships, such as CNN Norge and CNN Danmark, Mr. Lazar will acquire and develop new media products via local partnerships.
