Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting System, Atlanta, selected Impiric, Chicago, as its first agency to handle promotional marketing for National Basketball Association telecasts on two of its networks, TBS Superstation and Turner Network Television. The Young & Rubicam-owned shop created the theme "In the house" to show viewers that watching NBA games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights on TBS and TNT is like having a party in their homes. Impiric also helped the networks promote the season kickoff last week with a "Hawaiian House Party," rewarding 10 couples with a Thanksgiving trip to Hawaii. To support the all-star break in February, TBS and TNT will host a party in Washington, D.C., and another promotion will run during the playoffs next April and May.
