TV ads to back new gaming mags

Computec Media USA, a unit of German publisher Computec Media AG, is breaking a $15 million ad campaign to support the launch of its two new gaming magazines, PC Gaming and Video Gaming. The campaign includes three TV spots airing on broadcast and cable programs and targeting a 16-to-34-year-old male audience. The ads will run from Oct. 17 until yearend. The premier issues of the new publications will hit 100,000 retail outlets Oct. 26.
