Published on .

The Gap's Banana Republic division tonight launches its first TV campaign with a spot featuring suede products. The campaign, developed in-house, features a soundtrack by jazz singer Nina Simone and explores the sensual experience of suede. The spots will run on programs such as "Ally McBeal" and "L.A. Doctors" in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. The TV effort is part of Banana Republic's marketing push coinciding with the relaunch of its catalog.
