First TV ads for hat retailer

Hat retailer Lids Corp., Westwood, Mass., said it will break its first TV campaign Aug. 21, a $1 million effort in Boston, New York and Chicago. Lane Advertising, Boston, handles. The retailer said it operates 250 stores, primarily in malls, in 40 states.
