'TV Guide' recruits 'Digest' exec

Reader's Digest U.S. edition Advertising Director Tom Harty was named associate publisher, TV Guide, New York, a new post, where he rejoins Dick Porter, former Digest U.S. publisher and now senior VP-publisher of TV Guide. Reader's Digest Association, New York, named Eric Gruseke, publisher of its The Family Handyman, to be VP-associate publisher for the U.S. edition of the Digest, succeeding Mr. Harty. Michael Reilly was named to succeed Mr. Gruseke at The Family Handyman, from publisher of RDA's New Choices: Living Even Better After 50. Daren Mazzucca was named publisher of New Choices, succeeding Mr. Reilly, from advertising director of the magazine.
