New TV spots push Web catalogs

Published on .

Interactive Distributors, a Los Angeles-based Internet marketing and online catalog company, will air a series of 15-second TV spots aimed to drive users to its Web sites to promote e-commerce. The spots, which are now running on TV stations owned by Clear Channel, Meredith Corp., Paramount, Pappas, Granite and United Chris-Craft Groups, feature actors such as William Shatner who urge users to visit cyberspace to buy online. Interactive Distributors owns and operates catalog sites Space Encounter at www.spaceencounter.com; Black History; and Kids Fun House.
