Beyond.com goes to TV

Web software seller Beyond.com Dec. 9 starts its first TV campaign, with spots featuring a Santa and elf buying software over the Internet to meet their Christmas deadline. Spots will run in key Internet markets, including New York, San Francisco and Seattle. Leagas Delaney, San Francisco, handles the estimated $6 million to $10 million account for Beyond.com, formerly known as Software.net.
