TVB sees pols spending more

The Television Bureau of Advertising predicts spending levels for political advertising on spot TV will reach $500 million in 1996, up from the $355 million spent in 1994. TVB execs will pitch the advantages of spot TV advertising to the Republican and Democratic national committees when they meet next week in Washington.
