Time Warner Cable's Full Service Network today announced new features on its Orlando, Fla., interactive TV trial including Sports Illustrated Television, NFL on Demand, The News Exchange, U S West's GOtv and Pizza Hut.

The News Exchange, created by Time Inc. New Media, will allow customers to view a digest of the day's news from ABC News, CNN and NBC News and the Weather Channel at any time, or to select from news programs in categories, such as state and local or business and sports. In addition, several Time Inc. magazines supply video segments to TNX, including Time, Fortune, Money, and Entertainment Weekly.

U S West's GOtv lets consumers view movie previews on-demand and provides other out-of-home entertainment options including a listing of local restaurants, restaurant reviews and a calendar of area entertainment events and attractions. GOtv will also include interactive advertising and has formed alliances with national advertisers who will participate in the interactive television trial. Visa, Lexus, Macaroni Grill and Chili's are testing the interactive advertising environment.

FSN has also formed an alliance with Barnett Bank to provide an interactive TV banking service. Barnett Bank/FSN customers can check their balance inquiry, transfer funds and pay bills using their remote control.
