U.S. credit card giant taps BBH for $21M U.K. biz

LONDON - U.S.-based credit card giant Capital One is close to announcing the appointment of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, London, as its first above-the-line agency in the U.K.,

Although launched in the U.K. in 1996, Capital One has focused promotions until now on print advertising and direct marketing. The new push, likely to include TV advertising, will be worth an estimated $21 million.

BBH was unable to confirm the win.
