Published on .

LIMA -- Ace Peru, the local representative of Ace Home Center, is moving in on Peru's toy industry with the announcement it will open two toy stores in the capital, Lima.

Associate Manager Pablo Serrano says the company is preparing to open two "Mi Jugueteria" stores, with plans to become market leader in a sector it believes has yet to be tapped. The company will spend $1.5 million on the openings which will be timed to coincide with the Christmas shopping season.

Ace already has four Home Centers in Lima, a city with a population of around eight million people.
