U.S. Robotics on TV

Published on .

Modem maker U.S. Robotics, Skokie, Ill., launched its first-ever TV campaign today. Two spots from Leap Partnership, Chicago, will run in the U.S. and Europe in an effort to increase brand awareness for the modem industry's low-profile, high-growth leader. In the spots, Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak and physicist Stephen Hawking talk about how faster modems have changed their lives. Billings weren't disclosed.
