U S West testing TV services

U S West Communications, Denver, on Thursday launched a 12-month test of multimedia services, dubbed U S West TeleChoice, to nearly 50,000 households in the Omaha, Neb., area. The market trial features analog-based basic and premium cable programming. TeleChoice also plans to ramp up its digitally based interactive services to include video on demand, electronic navigator screens, home shopping and applications like distance learning and tele-medicine.
