Leading French retailer Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, Paris, is reviewing its $90 million global media account. The short-list includes Omnicom Group-owned Optimum Media Direction, which has held the account since 1993, and WPP Group-owned MindShare and Publicis-owned Optimedia.

Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., will sponsor the 2001 Canada Games, an amateur sporting event next summer in Ontario. Ford said its cost is more than $540,000.
