The product launch is in response to the recent "dengue" epidemic, a potentially fatal disease caused by mosquito bites, which has resulted in several deaths in the Philippines.
"It is a breakthrough product because it has triple lipid complex. It is also the most affordable mosquito repellent lotion in the market," says a company official. The substance moisturizes the skin while protecting it from mosquitoes.
The ads, created by McCann-Erickson Philippines, use the endline: "Nosquitoes (a shortened version of No to mosquitoes). Yes to Healthy Skin!"
The ads also highlight that the product is the "only mosquito repellent lotion that has a pleasant-smelling fragrance."
